Sunday – Service Rev Betty Bell (Holy Communion)
Betty used to be the deputy principal at Prior Pursglove college before she followed the call into the ministry, having been a local preacher in this circuit for many a year.
After “Standing Down” as a Minister (that’s the Methodist term for retirement) she came back home and is a very welcome visitor to our chapel.
This morning’s service will include Holy Communion. The Methodist Church is an inclusive church and we have an “Open Table” policy for Communion. Everybody is welcome to receive the bread and wine, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or disability.
Refreshments will follow the service.
